Last week, Porter Airlines announced the first routes that its new fleet of Embraer E195-E2 jets will operate from Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Toronto-based airline has just revealed another domestic route to launch from Toronto Pearson in February, as well as a number of new routes to depart from Ottawa as of March.
Beginning on March 27, 2023, Porter Airlines will fly from Ottawa to New York (EWR), Boston, Quebec City, and Thunder Bay on its De Haviland Dash 8-400 aircraft. Furthermore, the airline will fly between Toronto Pearson and Edmonton as of February 14, 2023, as well as to Calgary as of February 22, 2023, on its new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
Porter Airlines Launches New Routes from Ottawa
The four new routes scheduled to depart from Ottawa will be to New York (EWR), Boston, Quebec City, and Thunder Bay. These flights come in addition to the new service between Toronto Pearson and Ottawa that’s set to begin on February 1, 2023, as well as its existing routes to Fredericton, Moncton, and Halifax.
Porter Airlines will also continue to operate flights between Ottawa and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, giving passengers the option of flying into either airport.
All new destinations will be served by Porter Airlines’s older fleet of De Haviland Dash 8-400 turboprop aircraft, offering a 2-2 all-economy configuration with no middle seats.
The new routes from Ottawa are all set to begin on March 27, 2023.
The Ottawa (YOW)–New York (EWR) route will operate twice daily, with round-trip fares starting at $352 (CAD).

Porter Airlines Launches New Route from Toronto Pearson to Edmonton
The second cross-country route that Porter Airlines is set to launch from Toronto Pearson International Airport is to Edmonton. This flight will be served by the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, featuring a 2-2 all-economy configuration with no middle seats and free Wi-Fi for all passengers.
The service between the two provincial capitals is set to begin on February 14, 2023, and will eventually climb to three flights per day. Introductory pricing on this route begins at $250 (CAD).

The third cross-country route that Porter Airlines is set to launch from Toronto Pearson International Airport is to Calgary. This flight will also be served by the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, featuring a 2-2 all-economy configuration with no middle seats and free Wi-Fi for all passengers.
The service between Toronto Pearson and Calgary is set to begin on February 22, 2023, with two scheduled flights per day. Introductory pricing on this route begins at $262 (CAD).

Porter Airlines has announced new routes to operate from Ottawa to destinations in Canada and the United States, which will be served by its De Haviland Dash 8-400 aircraft. These routes are set to begin on March 27, 2023.
