I spent a few days exploring China’s southwestern Sichuan Province for the first time, followed by a trip to the mountain metropolis of Chongqing.
This part of the country is home to the world-famous adorable giant pandas, and I loved visiting them at Dujiangyan Panda Base on the outskirts of Chengdu. But it’s also home to so much more – between sizzling hotpot, incredible scenery and impressive cityscapes, and even an unexpected spiritual element to the trip at Qingcheng Mountain, there was so much to discover.
I’m really happy I finally got to visit this long-awaited part of the world, and I hope you enjoy the vlog as I bring you along.
