Book Your Next Train with Prince of Travel
Last fall, Prince of Travel launched its in-house travel agency with a luxury hotel booking service. We’ve assisted our clients with hundreds of bookings across the world, and we’re always working on expanding the type of services we can offer.
Personally, I’ve enjoyed some outstanding luxury train experiences in the recent past, including the Rocky Mountaineer, VIA Rail Prestige Class, and cruising across Japan in style.
Booking train travel is a natural next step for our travel agency, and our team is looking forward to assisting you with train bookings across a number of platforms.
As a reminder, we’ve partnered with Direct Travel, one of North America’s leading travel agencies, which gives us access to a number of preferred suppliers and exclusive access to some luxury brands.
This represents the second phase of the rollout of our wider in-house travel agency, which will soon offer booking all types of travel, whether it’s flights, cruises, activities, or more.
Rocky Mountaineer, VIA Rail, Belmond, and More
By booking with Prince of Travel, you’ll enjoy access to a number of train travel companies, including some that can only be booked via travel agents.
We’re pleased to offer booking on all VIA Rail trains, including Prestige Class, as well as with the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer experience.

As with our hotel booking service, you’re still eligible for elite benefits and points accrual as if you were to book directly with the train service.
For those booking with Rocky Mountaineer, your Aeroplan benefits would still apply, including an upgrade to the GoldLeaf train depending on your elite status and credit cards.
No Booking Fees
Many travel agencies charge fees for their services. At the moment, we do not charge any booking, change, or cancellation fees for handling your train bookings.
When booking train travel with Prince of Travel, one key advantage is the access you gain to exclusive train journeys that may not be available for direct booking. Some of our train travel suppliers have chosen to offer their unique and exciting products exclusively through travel agents.
This means we can provide you with a wider range of options and experiences that you wouldn’t be able to access on your own.
Additionally, there are often exclusive deals and packages from our network of travel suppliers, such as a $100 off per person or an onboard credit.
Finally, Prince of Travel can seamlessly arrange for accommodation before and after your train as well as handle any issues that arise before, during, and after the trip.
Note that our fee structure is subject to change in the future as our travel agency grows and is able to offer more services.
How Does It Work?
Ready for us to help you arrange your next train booking? Simply head to Book Trains with Prince of Travel and submit an inquiry via the form.
One of our travel advisors will be in touch via email within two business days to assist with your booking request. Prince of Travel members receive priority handling on their booking requests, based on membership tier.
Via email, our advisors will work with you to price out and arrange for your requested train booking.
When you’re ready to book, we will collect your credit card information via a PCI-compliant submission process and complete your booking with the requested vendor.
After your booking is confirmed, we’ll let you know about any perks and amenities you can look forward to.

The launch of our train booking service represents the second phase of our in-house travel agency. In the coming months, we’ll be working on a few things to further expand the service.
At the moment, Prince of Travel members receive priority handling on their booking requests, based on membership tier.
We’re working on introducing a wider range of tangible benefits for our members when booking travel with us, and over time, we envision these benefits evolving into a core component of Prince of Travel membership.
Work is also underway on the ability to help you book travel beyond hotels and trains: flights, cruises, vacation packages, and more, eventually allowing you to book entire trips with Prince of Travel!
