Air Canada’s New and Boosted Routes for Summer 2025

Air Canada has announced highlights of its Summer 2025 schedule, which includes new and boosted routes to popular spots across Europe, the United States, and Asia.

This includes Canada’s largest airline adding Nashville and Cincinnati to its list of new 2025 destinations south of the border for next summer.

Air Canada’s New and Boosted Routes for Summer 2025

Air Canada has released highlights for its Summer 2025 schedule, which features new non-stop routes and boosted flights to destinations in Europe and the US.

Beginning May 1, 2025, Air Canada will fly between Vancouver (YVR) and Nashville (BNA) three times weekly, and the airline has also announced a new daily route between Montreal (YUL) and Cincinnati (CVG) beginning May 22, 2025.

Both routes are seasonal and will run until mid-October 2025.

The Vancouver to Nashville route will operate Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while the Nashville to Vancouver route will fly Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with the following flight times:

  • AC1310 Vancouver (YVR) to Nashville (BNA), departing 1:10pm and arriving 7:43pm
  • AC1311 Nashville (BNA) to Vancouver (YVR), departing 8:15am and arriving at 11:10am

The flight is blocked at 4 hours 34 minutes in both directions.

The new Montreal (YUL) to Cincinnati (CVG) route will operate daily beginning May 22, 2025, with the following flight times:

  • AC8565 Montreal (YUL) to Cincinnati (CVG), departing 6:10pm and arriving 8:29pm
  • AC8564 Cincinnati (CVG) to Montreal (YUL), departing 1:15pm and arriving at 3:25pm

The flight is blocked at 1 hour 56 minutes in both directions.

The two new transborder routes complement Air Canada’s existing service from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) into Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Additionally, the airline is set to resume its service to Jacksonville (JAX) from Toronto on May 22, 2025, the only non-stop service between Canada and Jacksonville.

Air Canada is also showcasing its new and boosted routes to the Caribbean, Asia, and Europe for Summer 2025.

In addition to restoring year-round service between Toronto (YYZ) and Port of Spain (POS) in Trinidad and Tobago, Air Canada is opening up new services to help travellers explore Europe, with routes previously announced to the following destinations:

Also, for Summer 2025, Air Canada is boosting flights to Rome and Athens to provide travellers with up to three daily flights to each destination from Canada.

Flights on the Toronto–Stockholm route will increase to up to four times weekly, while the frequency of flights from Toronto to Madrid will increase to daily. Additionally, Air Canada says it will offer up to 1,300 seats per day on a total of three daily flights to Paris from Toronto and Montreal.

Air Canada’s service from Montreal to Casablanca (CMN) will also be boosted to daily, which will be a 17% increase in frequency over Summer 2024.

Air Canada will also bolster capacity in Summer 2025 to key Asian markets. Seasonal service to Seoul from Montreal and to Osaka from Toronto will both resume providing a convenient, non-stop option for customers travelling between Eastern North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

Executive VP of Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada, Mark Galardo says, “Air Canada is pleased to provide our customers a wide array of destinations for their Summer 2025 travel. By leveraging our hubs in Toronto and Montreal, we will offer more than 100,000 weekly seats to 30 destinations across Europe and North Africa* at the peak of next summer.”

With respect to the new and boosted routes to the US, Galardo says, “Our expanded transborder service will build upon our leading transborder network in conjunction with increased frequencies to seven key US cities. For customers, Air Canada’s transborder flights are timed to allow for easy connections at major hubs with our international network and travellers returning to the US can save time on arrival with the convenience of US customs pre-clearance during their connection in Canada.”
