This collaboration is very similar to the ongoing Aeroplan and Uber Eats partnership, in which Aeroplan co-branded cardholders can register for a complimentary three-, six-, or 12-month Uber Pass membership through September 2022.
What Is DoorDash DashPass?
DoorDash DashPass is a monthly subscription service that rewards frequent DoorDash users with members-only promotions and benefits. DashPass benefits include:

Activate Your Free DashPass Membership
Activating the free DashPass membership is fairly simple, and can be done by following these steps:
- Open your DoorDash app (or download the app and register).
- Add your eligible RBC credit card to your DoorDash account – this can be done in the account settings.
- You will be redirected to an activation page, and can now activate your complimentary DashPass subscription.
Keep in mind, if you’re already subscribed to DashPass, you’ll need to unsubscribe and subscribe again with an eligible RBC credit card, then activate the free DashPass offer.
Furthermore, if you remove your RBC credit card prematurely, you can resubscribe at a later time and still receive the DashPass Benefits for the remainder of the benefit period.
After your free membership period ends, you’ll automatically be billed at the default DashPass pricing of $9.99/month, unless you proactively cancel or remove your eligible RBC credit card from the DoorDash app.

Registration Window
The complimentary DashPass membership is a one-time offer from RBC and DoorDash, and is only available for enrollment until July 5, 2023, regardless of which RBC credit card you hold.
The benefits will begin on the date you subscribe to DashPass with your eligible RBC credit card and end either three or 12 months from that date, depending on your card tier.
As long as the activation is completed by the offer deadline, the three- or 12-month durations will apply to your DoorDash DashPass membership going forward.
