Meet Amy

Amy is a lifelong world traveller, first as a child, then as a university student, later with her “Player 2”, and now as a mother of three. Once she got her first taste of business class, there was no turning back.

But the kids have upended Amy’s travel style, motivating her to look for ways to cut costs and travel more comfortably as a family. Since discovering Miles & Points a few years ago, Amy has been able to take several family trips and adults-only trips each year.

Amy’s expertise as a Prince of Travel writer is in covering the unique challenges of family travel. Finding award availability is much harder as a party of five. Destinations, amenities, and itineraries suitable for young children are paramount, and Amy has adapted to meet their diverse priorities and interests while reducing the stress of travel.

When she’s not writing, travelling, or raising her kids, Amy works full-time as a physician. She has also organized Miles & Pints community get-togethers in her home city of Toronto.
