Tyler’s travels started at age 10, when his parents took him and his two brothers out of school to backpack through Central America for four months.
This life-changing childhood experience catapulted Tyler’s interest to explore more of the world. Having travelled to over 65 countries and almost every continent, Tyler has gained a new appreciation for the many cultures and people that make up the globe by exploring the many ways we are similar, and appreciating what makes people different.
Unbeknownst to Tyler, his first credit card in 2010 (American Express Gold Rewards Card) would begin a 14-year (and counting) exploration of everything Miles & Points. This has allowed him to meet some amazing people across Canada, ultimately leading to a job at Prince of Travel.
Tyler is Senior Content Creator and Consultant with Prince of Travel, and has been helping with researching and writing articles since 2022.
In recent years, Tyler and his wife have focused on longer travel, taking trips anywhere from one to nine months. This led to an even longer stay in Melbourne, Australia, where they currently call home.
Outside of his work with Prince of Travel, you can find Tyler training for short- and long-distance races with a high-performance running club, with a personal best of 15:16 in the 5k.
