This week’s new video focuses on the major points programs in Canada, showcasing a few of the most powerful loyalty programs for the purposes of taking awesome trips around the world with minimal out-of-pocket spending.
When you’re just starting out, it can often be challenging figuring out which points programs you ought to be focusing most of your attention on. In this video, we discuss fixed-value vs. flexible rewards programs, the versatility of the American Express Membership Rewards currency, and the ideal uses for what I’d consider to be the leading “trifecta” of points programs in Canada: Aeroplan, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, and British Airways Avios.
This video marks the halfway point of my YouTube series on the basics of Miles & Points in Canada. I have yet to shoot the remaining four episodes, so they’ll likely take me some time to produce, and I might be working on a few other video projects in the meantime.
